Job Overview: The Senior Associate position within CHAI's AI Innovation team is crucial for advancing the organization's agenda in leveraging artificial intelligence to tackle global health challenges. This role involves conducting research, strategic analysis, and fostering collaboration across various functions within CHAI. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Associate will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including: conducting landscape analyses and research on AI applications in global health, synthesizing findings into actionable insights; supporting the identification, assessment, and prioritization of AI use cases across CHAI's program areas; contributing to the development of strategic documents and frameworks that articulate CHAI's vision for AI in global health; preparing high-quality presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders; supporting fundraising efforts through background research and proposal development; engaging with internal program teams to identify opportunities for AI integration; tracking developments in the AI landscape, including emerging technologies and ethical guidelines; participating in meetings with partners and stakeholders; supporting pilot assessments and proof-of-concept projects; organizing workshops and learning sessions; maintaining project documentation and tracking deliverables; collaborating with CHAI's digital health and innovation teams; and supporting ad-hoc analytical requests as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, along with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience in fields such as consulting, technology, global health, or international development. They should demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources. Experience using modern AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude in a professional or academic setting is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as a track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
