Job Overview:
The Resource Mobilization Clerk position is part-time and involves working across two units within the Services to Science and Research (SSR) Branch of IARC. The role supports the Resource Mobilization and Management Office and the ERP Project Management Office. The incumbent will assist in the effective implementation of IARC’s projects by providing administrative support, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders. The position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the overall efficiency of the agency's operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Resource Mobilization Clerk will perform a variety of duties including supporting the internal coaching process for IARC applications to the European Research Council (ERC), monitoring policy changes, preparing background materials for donor requirements, and providing administrative support for Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The incumbent will also assist in managing IARC consortia, provide backup support to colleagues, organize meetings and project-related events, assist with documentation and formatting, and support the testing of the new ERP system. Additionally, the clerk will help prepare training materials and ensure effective communication regarding the ERP system's functionalities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with relevant office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is essential. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are also required. Knowledge of public health, particularly cancer-related topics, is desirable, along with an understanding of project management and change management principles.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement is graduation from secondary or commercial school (DUT, BTS or equivalent). A first-level university degree in public or business administration, international cooperation, or a relevant field is desirable. Training in WHO’s Project Management Methodology is also preferred.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant administrative experience, with a portion of that experience in project management support. Experience in an international environment, such as WHO or UN, and familiarity with donor agreements and ERP implementation projects are desirable.

Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English and a working knowledge of French are essential for this position. A working knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
The position is temporary and subject to local recruitment, ideally filled by candidates residing within the local commuting area. The fixed remuneration is EUR 3,058 per month, net of income tax, with additional benefits including various types of leave and allowances for dependent family members.
