In 2022, ZOA and Dorcas formed a partnership in South Sudan, creating a joint organization known as ZOA Dorcas South Sudan, aimed at maximizing their impact on the communities they serve. Job Overview:
The Manager of Programme Quality (MPQ) plays a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of design" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">program design, implementation, and evaluation within ZOA Dorcas South Sudan. This position involves providing expert guidance to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director, Director of Programmes, and Programme Managers to enhance the overall quality and consistency of program planning. The MPQ is also responsible for developing high-quality project proposals aimed at potential donors, ensuring that all projects adhere to ZOA Dorcas policies and comply with national and international guidelines. The role requires a strong focus on monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) processes, as well as the development of innovative project proposals that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The MPQ's responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing program quality. This includes advising and supporting senior management in the development of the Country Strategy and Annual Plan, ensuring adherence to ZOA Dorcas policies, and maintaining compliance with donor and international standards. The MPQ is tasked with developing and implementing MEAL tools and processes, supporting Programme Managers in beneficiary accountability, and conducting partner assessments. Additionally, the MPQ is responsible for the development of the Country MEAL and Quality Framework, guiding project evaluations, and collaborating with the MEAL team at headquarters. The role also involves improving staff utilization of organizational tools, enhancing systems for program delivery, and leading knowledge management initiatives to promote organizational learning.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the MPQ position must possess a university degree in a relevant field such as humanitarian or development studies. They should have at least three years of field experience in fragile contexts, demonstrating expertise in one of ZOA's sectors. Strong research skills and knowledge of MEAL practices are essential. The candidate must also have a command of the English language and exhibit a range of skills including conceptual flexibility, logical thinking, strong writing abilities, attention to detail, innovative thinking, management skills, and a customer-friendly attitude. A result-oriented approach and interpersonal sensitivity are also critical attributes for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Manager of Programme Quality position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as humanitarian studies, development studies, or a related discipline.
