Job Overview: The position of Alternant(e) at the Service Jeunesse involves supporting the development and implementation of youth projects in the Île-de-France region. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks that include managing project registrations, updating databases, confirming registrations, and contributing to the logistics of youth and solidarity projects. This role requires active participation in sending materials to educational institutions, managing collections related to youth projects, and assisting with digital collection management. The candidate will also engage in training volunteers and organizing events such as the Course contre la Faim, ensuring a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Managing registrations for youth and solidarity projects by receiving, entering, and updating data in databases.
Confirming registrations using software, including assessing material needs and the number of enrolled students.
Assisting with the logistics of youth and solidarity projects in collaboration with service providers.
Participating in the timely dispatch of various materials to schools, coordinating with routing companies and corporate partners, and managing additional and urgent shipments.
Receiving materials from educational institutions and ensuring proper handling.
Contributing to the collection process related to youth projects, including receiving, verifying, and transmitting donations to service providers.
Updating collection-related information in databases.
Handling inquiries from educational institutions and youth donors.
Participating in the management of digital collections. 1
Engaging in the overall activities of the Youth and Solidarity service, including training volunteers and organizing events.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Enrollment in a Bac +2 or Bac +3 program, preferably in business school, entrepreneurship, logistics, or a generalist training program with a strong interest in project management or event organization.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
A commitment to the mission and values of Action contre la Faim, demonstrating a passion for humanitarian work and social impact.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes being in the process of obtaining a Bac +2 or Bac +3 degree. This could be in fields such as business administration, logistics, project management, or any relevant discipline that supports the functions of the role.
Experience: The position is suitable for candidates who may not have extensive professional experience but are eager to learn and grow within the organization. Previous internships or volunteer experiences in project management, event organization, or related fields would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, given the nature of the work and the target audience. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered a plus, enhancing communication with international partners and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This is a 12-month apprenticeship contract with a desired schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days in training. The position is based in Montreuil, Île-de-France, with a weekly working time of 38.75 hours. The salary is based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and educational level, and is distributed over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time), prorated based on their presence in the organization. Additionally, 50% of public transport costs will be covered. The organization supports remote work, allowing employees to choose to work fully or partially from home, although a minimum of 16 days per month is required at the Montreuil office for meetings and collective events. The first six weeks will include mandatory in-office days for team integration. Frequent travel within the regions is also expected.
