Job Overview:
The position of Flexible Senior Associate at CHAI involves providing support for various strategic projects over a period of 3-6 months. The role can be full-time or require a minimum commitment of 10 days per month. The associate will work closely with the Strategy & Special Projects team on high-priority initiatives that span CHAI's diverse portfolio. Responsibilities include operationalizing CHAI's five-year strategy, scoping new program areas, developing strategies for donors and partners, and securing sustainable funding for programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of an organization that significantly impacts the lives of millions in low- and middle-income countries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Flexible Senior Associate, the responsibilities include drafting recommendations and implementation plans for CHAI's five-year strategy, conducting research to identify potential new program areas, developing communication materials such as reports and presentations, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The associate will also support senior leadership in building relationships with key stakeholders, collect and analyze data to inform decision-making, and track key performance indicators to assess project impacts.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, such as strategy consulting or investment banking. They should possess experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research and be able to communicate findings effectively to various audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required, along with superb written and verbal communication skills in English. Ideal candidates will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, insightfulness, independence, practicality, analytical skills, and adaptability.

Educational Background:
