Job Overview: The Market and Business Intelligence Specialist position at ICAO is a pivotal role within the Revenue and Product Management Section (RPM). This position is designed to support the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau by leveraging data-driven strategies to enhance ICAO's revenue-generating initiatives. The specialist will be responsible for conducting market intelligence research, developing business cases, performing pricing analysis, and providing project management support for new product implementations. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Market and Business Intelligence Specialist include:
Conducting market intelligence and opportunity assessments by researching market trends, identifying emerging needs, and analyzing competitive landscapes for ICAO products. This involves estimating the size of serviceable obtainable markets and producing actionable recommendations for product development.
Developing comprehensive business cases to evaluate the feasibility and impact of new initiatives, analyzing both internal and external data to model financial outcomes, and presenting findings to senior management.
Performing pricing analysis and financial modeling to assess pricing strategies, historical trends, and customer segmentation impacts, while preparing financial models to simulate pricing scenarios.
Providing project management support for new product implementations, ensuring alignment between analytical outputs and strategic goals, and participating in change initiatives by analyzing stakeholder needs.
Undertaking other related duties as assigned to support the RPM section's objectives.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Market and Business Intelligence Specialist position include:
A first-level university degree in business administration or a related field of study is essential, while a second-level university degree or an MBA is desirable.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in market research, business analytics, or strategic planning is essential, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and communicate complex findings clearly.
Experience in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and competitive intelligence is required, along with proficiency in analytical tools and software, including spreadsheets and data visualization platforms.
