Job Overview: The position of Assistant Technique Logistique Achat is crucial for supporting the logistics and procurement functions within the NRC's Sudan office. Duties and Responsibilities: The Assistant Technique Logistique Achat will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting in the preparation and monitoring of procurement files for the Sudan team; maintaining and regularly updating the procurement tracking file; ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and contract execution; managing the archiving of logistics documents in accordance with NRC standards; collaborating with the Human Resources and Administration department to provide necessary supplies for guest houses and offices; supervising and managing the work of service providers; preparing certificates of good execution and delivery notes; submitting assigned reports on schedule; ensuring proper management of assets and inventory for Sudan; tracking vehicle fleets and generators; preparing monthly logistics reports covering stock, vehicle fleet, asset tracking, and procurement; assisting in the creation and maintenance of a supplier database and market analysis; preparing goods and documents for transport services; and supervising the loading and unloading of goods for Sudan.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of a BAC+2 degree in logistics or a related field. They should have professional experience as an assistant in a support function within a humanitarian context, with a proven track record of responsibilities relevant to the position. Experience in complex and unstable environments is essential, along with demonstrated results in previous roles. Proficiency in French, English, and the local Arabic dialect, both written and spoken, is mandatory to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes at least a BAC+2 degree in logistics or a related field.
