The internship is full-time and spans from July 14, 2025, to January 13, 2026, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while gaining valuable experience in the field of communication and sustainability.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an intern, you will be responsible for supporting the ISC3's social media activities and website maintenance using WordPress. Your tasks will include collaborating with ISC3 teams to draft and coordinate texts for the website, social media posts, press releases, and newsletters. You will also assist in managing paid social media campaigns and coordinating with external service providers. Additionally, you will engage in various everyday communication tasks that contribute to the overall mission of the ISC3, ensuring that sustainability topics are effectively communicated to a broader audience.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should have completed a foundational degree, preferably in communication, design, or a related field, and possess a strong interest in communicating sustainability topics and editorial work. Experience in communication, particularly in editorial tasks, website management (CMS: WordPress, basic HTML), and social media is desirable. The ideal candidate should be a creative individual who enjoys preparing topics for communication and is a team player eager to contribute to a dynamic team working on new thematic areas.
Educational Background: A completed foundational degree in communication, design, or a comparable field is required. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a program that necessitates an internship or have graduated no more than six months prior to the start of the internship.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have some experience in communication, particularly in editorial roles and social media management. Familiarity with website content management systems, especially WordPress, is advantageous. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to various communication initiatives is essential.
Languages: Fluency in German and English is mandatory, with a minimum proficiency level of B2 in both spoken and written forms. Since English is the external working language of the ISC3, strong English communication skills are crucial. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not required.
Additional Notes: The internship is a full-time position, and candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant program or have graduated within the last six months.
