Job Overview: The Data Analyst position is a critical role within the Health Governance Initiative (HEART) Programme, specifically supporting the Biomedical and Genomic Services Initiative (BGSI). The primary function of this role is to manage clinical and laboratory data related to diagnostic and surveillance activities. The Data Analyst will ensure that patient consent is obtained, clinical information is accurately recorded, and sequencing results are integrated into the health system. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including clinicians and laboratory staff, to ensure that data is analyzed effectively for clinical and public health implementation. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance with ethical standards and data protection regulations. This role is essential for supporting Indonesia's health system capacity and contributing to the achievement of health-related SDGs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform data collection, analysis, interpretation, management, and quality control, including: - Obtain and manage patient informed consent documentation. - Collect, organize, and manage clinical data related to MTB diagnosis and treatment. - Manage and curate sequencing data (tNGS/WGS) from laboratory teams. - Perform quality control of collected data to ensure completeness and consistency. - Support preliminary analysis and interpretation of tNGS results for clinical implementation. - Collaborate with clinicians, bioinformaticians, and laboratory staff to integrate clinical and sequencing findings. - Prepare datasets for reporting and publication purposes. - Ensure compliance with ethical standards and data protection regulations. - Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
