Job Overview: The Senior Recruitment Coordinator position at IFC is a pivotal role within the Human Resources (HR) Department, which serves as a strategic partner to the business in developing and implementing workforce strategies. The HR department comprises three Centers of Expertise: Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, and Talent & Incentives, along with two Client Services teams that support headquarters and regional offices. The selected candidate will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process across various vice presidential units in Asia. Reporting to the Global Recruitment Team Program Lead in Washington DC, the Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with Asia Recruitment Officers to ensure effective recruitment practices are followed, aligning with organizational goals and metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Recruitment Coordinator include supporting and executing the full lifecycle recruitment process from job posting to candidate onboarding for all requisitions in the region. This involves ensuring adherence to key metrics such as time to fill, workforce plan completion, diversity of hires, and overall candidate and Hiring Manager experience. The Coordinator will proactively follow up with Recruitment Officers and Hiring Managers to track recruitment status and manage the recruitment and appointment process. Specific tasks include posting vacancies, updating candidate statuses, scheduling job launch meetings and interviews, administering recorded video interviews and assessments, managing online interview forms, liaising with candidates to gather necessary information, coordinating salary offers, issuing appointment letters, and collaborating with global mobility teams on benefits and relocation. Additionally, the Coordinator will initiate onboarding processes and administer background screening. The role also entails conducting resume reviews and longlisting candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback. The Coordinator will track requisition statuses and relevant metrics to ensure timely and quality delivery, support recruitment drives and batch hiring processes, assist in developing and maintaining talent pipelines, and promote IFC as an employer of choice during talent outreach events in the Asia region.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Senior Recruitment Coordinator position must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years of professional experience in organizing, administering, and maintaining large recruitment or administrative transaction volumes. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. Strong business-level proficiency in English is required, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal forms, including the preparation of professional emails, reports, and presentations. Excellent customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple clients with high expectations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity in problem-solving and task completion, while maintaining a positive, open, collaborative, and discreet demeanor. Confidentiality is crucial, and the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and achieve performance metrics. Sensitivity and adaptability in a multi-cultural environment are also important, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary, and familiarity with recruitment and HR systems/software is considered a bonus.

Additional Notes: This position is classified as a temporary role with a term duration of one year, which may be renewable at the discretion of the World Bank Group. The appointment is subject to a lifetime maximum of three years for ET positions.
