Job Overview:
The position of Praktikant*in in the field of organizational development is designed to support the corporate management of GIZ in ensuring an efficient organizational structure and processes worldwide. The intern will be involved in developing organizational foundations and providing consulting services to enhance the organization in line with strategic priorities. This role is integral to the process management of GIZ, which is a central component of the corporate strategy and the ongoing transformation of the organization. The intern will assist in planning and providing resources for the transition to a process-oriented organization and will help in adapting the structural elements of GIZ to meet current demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for supporting various organizational and procedural topics, including the analysis and further development of the organization towards a stronger process orientation. Key responsibilities include data collection, preparation, and analysis in collaboration with different units of the company using MS Excel. The intern will also assist in preparing, presenting, and communicating the information derived from this analysis using MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Additionally, the intern will provide consulting support regarding structures and processes in country offices and organizational units at headquarters, and participate in departmental meetings and company-wide informational events.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field. Initial consulting experience is desirable, along with basic knowledge of organizational structures and processes, particularly in process management. Strong strategic and analytical skills, as well as a structured working style, are essential. Good communication skills are necessary, including the ability to prepare materials suitable for executive-level presentations. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is required, and candidates must have fluent German and English language skills, with additional language skills being an advantage.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be currently enrolled in a degree program or engaged in a training program that includes an internship as an integral part. Alternatively, candidates who have graduated within the last six months are also eligible to apply.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have some initial experience in consulting or related fields, which would be beneficial for the role. However, the primary requirement is to be currently enrolled in a relevant academic program or to have recently graduated, indicating a foundational level of experience in the field.

Languages:
Fluent proficiency in both German and English is mandatory for this position. Additional language skills are considered advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.

The internship is available for a fixed term from May 12, 2025, to November 11, 2025, and can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
