Job Overview:
The ICLA Database Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the database systems that support the organization's Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) program. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and accessibility for program staff. The officer will also be expected to analyze data trends, generate reports, and provide insights to improve program effectiveness. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding data protection standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ICLA database, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Input and update data related to beneficiaries and program activities.
  • Generate regular reports for program management and stakeholders.
  • Train staff on database usage and data entry protocols.
  • Collaborate with program teams to identify data needs and improve data collection processes.
  • Conduct data analysis to support program evaluation and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
  • Assist in the development of database-related tools and resources.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of database management systems and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data entry and management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian principles and practices is an asset.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in information technology, data management, social sciences, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in database management or data analysis are preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in database management or a related field is required. Experience working in humanitarian or development settings is an advantage.

Languages:
Fluency in Ukrainian and English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the region is considered an asset.
