Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that may include: providing support to ongoing projects, assisting in social media outreach efforts, offering administrative support, working on presentations, and consolidating and sorting data. The specific duties will depend on the intern's background and the duration of the internship. Interns are expected to engage actively with their assigned projects and contribute to the overall goals of the division or office they are placed in.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). This ensures that candidates have a solid academic foundation and are prepared for the responsibilities of the internship.

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a background in fields relevant to the work of ESCAP, such as international relations, development studies, environmental science, or related disciplines. A graduate degree or a bachelor's degree nearing completion is required, which indicates that the intern has a strong understanding of the theoretical frameworks and practical applications relevant to sustainable development and agricultural mechanization.

Experience:

Languages:
