Job Overview: The ICT Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure of Action Against Hunger, ensuring that technology is effectively utilized to support humanitarian operations. The ICT Manager is responsible for training staff on ICT tools, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with global and regional ICT teams to implement best practices. Duties and Responsibilities: The ICT Manager's duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: developing and implementing ICT strategies that align with ACF's mission; maintaining secure and efficient IT systems, networks, and cloud services across country and field offices; implementing robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols; providing technical support and training to staff on ICT tools; integrating technology into humanitarian programs for improved data collection and reporting; overseeing the procurement and maintenance of IT hardware and software; collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize ICT solutions; and coordinating local flight bookings for passengers and cargo. The manager will also be responsible for establishing and enforcing ICT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and conducting regular security audits and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Industrial System Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, along with certifications related to software and hardware systems. Strong technical skills in various software applications, a responsible attitude, and a mature understanding of the nature of the work are essential. The ability to work under pressure, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to support other departments are also critical qualifications for this role.
