Job Overview: The position of Procurement Process IC - Individual contractor involves the development of a standard adherence and retention support package. Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a standard adherence and retention support package that meets UNDP's procurement standards.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for the development of the package.
Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in procurement adherence and retention strategies.
Prepare and submit a comprehensive report detailing the developed package and recommendations for implementation.
Ensure that all deliverables are submitted within the specified timeline and adhere to UNDP's quality standards.
Communicate effectively with UNDP procurement teams and other relevant parties throughout the assignment.
Respond to any queries or requests for clarification regarding the assignment in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in procurement processes, particularly within international organizations or development agencies.
Strong understanding of UNDP procurement policies and procedures.
Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in using procurement management systems and tools, particularly the UNDP supplier portal.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset for this position.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields is required. Experience working with UNDP or similar international organizations is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate a track record of successfully managing procurement processes and developing effective support packages.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the region, is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's profile.
