Job Overview: The position of Consultor para arquitecto de software involves providing consultancy services for the design and implementation of a software architectural model and systems for a pilot project aimed at integrating and interconnecting social information with prioritized administrative databases. This role is crucial in the context of the Social Information Exchange Mechanism (MIIS) in Peru. The consultant will be expected to leverage their expertise in software architecture to ensure that the systems developed are robust, scalable, and capable of facilitating interoperability between various data systems. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions provided meet the needs of the users and adhere to best practices in software development and architecture.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive software architecture model that supports the integration and interoperability of social information systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the software architecture.
Develop technical specifications and documentation for the software architecture and systems.
Ensure that the architectural solutions are aligned with the organizational standards and best practices in software development.
Provide guidance and support during the implementation phase of the project, ensuring that the architecture is correctly applied.
Conduct training sessions for relevant personnel on the new systems and architecture.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the implemented systems and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare progress reports and present findings to the project management team and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
At least 8 years of general work experience in the public and/or private sector.
A minimum of 5 years of specific experience in roles related to systems architecture, application architecture, or similar fields.
At least 2 years of experience as an application architect in the design and/or implementation of interoperability platforms or solutions.
Completion of a course or workshop in Project Management.
Completion of a course or workshop related to enterprise architecture, software architecture, or data/information architecture.
Completion of a course or workshop related to the use or implementation of interoperability standards or data integration.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a professional background that includes at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computing. Additional certifications or training in project management, software architecture, or related areas will be considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's profile.
Experience: The position requires a significant level of experience, specifically a minimum of 8 years in the workforce, with at least 5 years dedicated to roles that involve systems architecture or application architecture. Furthermore, candidates should have at least 2 years of direct experience as an application architect, particularly in designing or implementing systems that facilitate interoperability between different platforms.
Languages: Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as the work will be conducted in Peru. Knowledge of English is considered a good to have, as it may facilitate communication with international stakeholders and access to additional resources and documentation.
