Job Overview:
The Cloud Security Consultant position at UNRWA involves collaborating with technologists and architects to enhance security measures for cloud-native development, particularly on the Azure platform. The consultant will be responsible for developing new frameworks for cloud security, implementing security measures, and automating security processes. The role requires close collaboration with programmers and developers to devise strategies for improving security and maintaining communication with project heads to track progress. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Cloud Security Consultant include: collaborating with technologists and architects to make technical security recommendations for cloud-native development; developing new frameworks for cloud security; implementing new security measures on the Azure cloud; scripting and automating security processes using Azure; informing clients about the Azure cloud and its services; using networking and virtualization to enhance cybersecurity measures; maintaining communication with project heads to monitor progress; meeting with clients to discuss their security needs and satisfaction with Azure services; utilizing internal resources from Microsoft and external resources to develop security measures; organizing reports detailing new security implementations for client review; creating cybersecurity systems for cloud environments and hybrid environments that utilize stationary hardware; and performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for this position include a university degree or a master's degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years with a master's degree. Additionally, candidates should possess deep domain expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions and varied experience in security applications such as anti-virus, IDS, and firewalls. Fluency in spoken and written English is also required.

Educational Background:
