Job Overview:
The position of Mécanicien Poids Lourd involves providing essential maintenance, servicing, and repair of UN-owned light vehicles, forklifts, buses, excavators, and other equipment. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on UN-owned light vehicles, forklifts, buses, excavators, and other equipment.

• Carrying out major repairs on engine assemblies, gearboxes, and transmissions.
• Driving vehicles and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and environmentally friendly work habits during repairs and parts replacement.
• Performing pre-emission checks and inspections of vehicles.
• Ensuring quality control of repairs and conducting road tests post-maintenance to verify vehicle roadworthiness.
• Recovering heavy vehicles using specialized equipment. 1
