Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: providing reliable and safe driving services for UNFPA staff, officials, and visitors; delivering and collecting mail and documentation; meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport; keeping abreast of traffic, road, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security issues to ensure safe and timely arrivals; managing all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including conducting minor repairs, cleaning, and arranging for major repairs; maintaining daily vehicle logs and assisting in the preparation of vehicle maintenance plans; tracking insurance and tax formalities; acting as a translator in the local language for official passengers when necessary; guiding and coaching junior drivers; and assisting CO staff with general administrative duties as required. This comprehensive set of responsibilities ensures that the Driver plays a key role in supporting UNFPA's operations and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have completed secondary level education. Additionally, applicants should have a minimum of three years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy, or UN system, with a proven safe driving record. Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol, local roads and conditions, and defensive driving skills is essential. Skills in minor vehicle repairs are also required, along with a basic understanding of the official UN language of the duty station. Candidates should exemplify integrity, demonstrate commitment to UNFPA and the UN system, embrace cultural diversity, and be adaptable to change.

Educational Background:
