This position requires a proactive approach to managing security risks while supporting humanitarian efforts. The coordinator will analyze security situations, develop strategies for safe access, and implement security management frameworks. The role involves close collaboration with senior management and local partners to build capacity and transfer knowledge to field staff. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining security documentation, conducting training, and overseeing emergency response efforts, all while adhering to humanitarian principles and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Security and Access Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
Analyzing security risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Supporting the implementation of the Security Management Framework at the area level.
Providing security briefings for staff and visitors. 1
Supporting the Area Director in operational planning and incident management. 1
Following up on violations of the organization's Code of Conduct.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player. Essential qualifications include:

Experience: The position requires at least three years of experience in a direct safety and access role, preferably within a non-governmental organization. Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for this position.
