Job Overview: The position of Praktikant*in in Digitalisierung & Kommunikation within the Sektor- und Globalvorhaben (GloBe) area is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to the digital transformation of an international organization. The GloBe sector consolidates all sector-oriented development policy consulting projects and global initiatives, which involve implementing measures in multiple partner countries and regions in collaboration with local partners. As an intern, you will be part of a team that bridges projects, corporate processes, and digital requirements. Your role will involve supporting the coordination and implementation of digital transformation measures and area communication. You will assist in the implementation of new digital tools, provide advice on digital trends, technologies, and methods, and contribute to the digital transformation efforts of the organization. Additionally, you will be involved in extensive communication measures and event formats, as well as supporting knowledge management within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: As an intern, your responsibilities will include: supporting daily team tasks such as consulting, coordination, process, and knowledge management; assisting in the implementation of internal communication measures, events, and regular formats; responding to inquiries regarding digital solutions and tools; researching and editorially preparing information and texts; administering and moderating internal platforms and exchange formats; and supporting the internal network management of the department.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should be students or recent graduates, ideally from the fields of humanities, social sciences, political science, economics, or computer science. A strong interest in digital transformation and change management, along with an understanding of political processes, is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as familiarity with current developments and processes in international cooperation. Candidates should be engaged with ongoing discussions and trends in digital transformation and possess a high affinity for digital tools, although programming skills are not mandatory. The ability to work in a structured, efficient, and self-organized manner is crucial, along with strong interpersonal skills and a curiosity for teamwork.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a university program or in a continuing education program that includes an internship as an integral part. Alternatively, candidates who have graduated no more than six months prior to the start of the internship are also eligible to apply.
Experience: This internship is suitable for students or recent graduates, meaning that prior professional experience is not strictly required, but a background in relevant fields will be beneficial. The focus is on providing practical experience in a professional setting, particularly in the areas of digital transformation and communication.
Languages: Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages being essential for the role. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not explicitly required for this position.
