Job Overview: The position of Knowledge Management Associate is crucial for the implementation of the Plural Justice Program, a partnership between the National Justice Council and UNDP. This role involves developing and implementing knowledge management strategies to enhance the program's impact and visibility both nationally and internationally. The associate will be responsible for documenting, systematizing, and monitoring program activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among various institutional actors. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and sharing best practices and lessons learned, as well as producing technical publications and reports that reflect the program's achievements and challenges. The associate will work closely with the Coordinator of Capacitations and Knowledge Management and will play a key role in supporting events, training, and awareness-raising activities aligned with the program's objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Development and Implementation of Knowledge Management Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for knowledge management and dissemination to enhance the program's impact. Identify, systematize, and share lessons learned and best practices.
Production and Management of Publications and Technical Materials: Produce and edit technical reports, conceptual notes, impact evaluations, and other related products. Coordinate the organization and standardization of technical publications.
Monitoring and Evaluation of Impact: Collaborate with the data team to develop strategies for measuring and monitoring the program's impact. Track and document progress, developing regular reports for various audiences.
Systematization and Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and results, ensuring information organization and accessibility. Consolidate relevant data and conduct research to support document production.
Institutional Articulation and Collaboration: Facilitate communication and integration among institutional actors involved in the program. Contribute to mapping and articulating strategic partnerships.
Support for Events, Training, and Awareness-Raising: Assist in organizing events, seminars, and workshops. Create technical content and educational materials for training aligned with program objectives.
Technical and Operational Support: Assist with administrative and technical demands related to knowledge management and internal organization. Participate in missions and meetings related to program execution, ensuring technical quality and alignment with guidelines.
Required Qualifications: Minimum education requirements include a high school diploma, with a university degree (Bachelor's) in Administration, Public Administration, Human Sciences, Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Management, or related fields being preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience is required for candidates with a high school diploma, or 4 years for those with a Bachelor's degree. Candidates should possess skills in information technology and knowledge of the MS Office suite. Experience with public agencies, particularly within the judicial system, is highly desirable, as is experience in knowledge management, information management, and document management, preferably in the public sector or international organizations.
Educational Background: Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, with a preference for those holding a university degree in relevant fields such as Administration, Public Administration, Human Sciences, Social Sciences, or International Relations. The educational background should support the candidate's ability to engage in knowledge management and program implementation effectively.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a high school diploma or 4 years for those with a Bachelor's degree. Experience should include knowledge management, project management, institutional engagement, event organization, and training, among other related areas. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and have a background in access to justice, human rights, and social policies.
Languages: Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, while knowledge of English is considered an asset. Proficiency in additional languages may enhance a candidate's application but is not required.
