Job Overview:
The position of Associado(a) Técnico(a) para Acesso à Justiça e Promoção do Trabalho Decente involves strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of the implementation of the project BRA/23/027, which focuses on enhancing judicial services to promote decent work and dignified living conditions, particularly for structurally vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Technical Coordination of the project, engaging in technical and administrative tasks that align with the project's objectives. The role requires a proactive approach to engage in discussions about central themes and collaborate effectively with team members to establish timelines and ensure the quality of actions undertaken within the project. The candidate is expected to contribute to the development of strategies that are coherent with the project's goals and aligned with best practices in project implementation and monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associado(a) Técnico(a) include:
  • Supporting the implementation of actions related to the project under the supervision of the project coordination.
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks based on the guidelines of the National Justice Council (CNJ).
  • Actively participating in dialogues with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Monitoring the activity schedule of the project and ensuring that planned actions are executed as intended.
  • Analyzing the alignment of activities with expected results and ensuring that strategies are in accordance with project objectives.
  • Ensuring the technical quality of deliverables and adherence to UNDP and CNJ guidelines.
  • Supporting knowledge management within the project and contributing to the production of technical documents and reports.
  • Assisting in human resources processes related to the project, including recruitment and training of team members.
  • Performing other functions deemed necessary for the project's success.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience (or 4 years with a university degree) in areas related to access to justice and the promotion of decent work. Candidates should possess strong skills in information technology and have experience in written communication, including report writing. Additionally, experience working with the justice system and knowledge of institutional racism and related topics are highly desirable. Experience in executing projects or research on discrimination elimination in employment, combating forced labor, and promoting safe and healthy work environments is also preferred.

Educational Background:
A high school diploma is required, while a university degree in Human or Social Sciences will be given due consideration but is not mandatory. The educational background should support the candidate's ability to engage in discussions and contribute to the project's objectives effectively.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience if they hold a high school diploma, or 4 years if they possess a university degree. This experience should be in fields related to access to justice, human rights, or the promotion of decent work, demonstrating the candidate's capability to handle the responsibilities of the position effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is required for this position, as it is essential for communication and documentation. A basic level of English is desirable, which would facilitate engagement with international partners and resources.
