Job Overview:
The position of Assistente Produtor(a) Editorial e de Conteúdo is integral to the Programa Justiça Plural, a collaborative initiative between the National Justice Council and UNDP aimed at strengthening the Brazilian judiciary's capacity to promote human rights and enhance access to justice for structurally vulnerable populations. The role involves reviewing and ensuring the linguistic quality of official documents, supporting the editorial production of the program, and contributing to the dissemination of its initiatives. The assistant will work closely with the communication team to align editorial outputs with the program's objectives and ensure that all materials meet established standards of quality and consistency. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to promoting the program's mission through effective communication strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Assistente Produtor(a) Editorial e de Conteúdo include:
  • Supporting and monitoring the editorial production processes of the Programa Justiça Plural, including managing timelines, reviewing drafts, and coordinating with teams.
  • Conducting grammatical, orthographic, and stylistic revisions of institutional and technical documents, ensuring compliance with technical and institutional standards.
  • Reviewing content for dissemination across various communication channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
  • Formatting texts according to ABNT standards and official writing guidelines, and preparing publications for ISBN registration when applicable.
  • Collaborating with design teams to ensure that revised texts align with graphic layouts and adhere to UNDP and CNJ guidelines.
  • Contributing to the development of information management products and other editorial demands of the program, ensuring technical quality and support for related activities.
  • Performing additional functions as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the project.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, with a university degree (Bachelor's) in Portuguese Language or related fields such as Journalism being preferred. Candidates should possess strong writing and editing skills in Portuguese, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written content. Experience working with public sector partners, particularly within the justice system, is highly desirable. Familiarity with human rights, socio-environmental issues, and social justice topics will be considered an asset. Candidates should also have experience in editorial management and production, as well as the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma. A university degree (Bachelor's) in Portuguese Language or related fields such as Journalism is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant educational qualifications will be considered during the selection process, particularly those that demonstrate a strong foundation in language and communication skills.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in text editing or journalistic activities if they possess only a high school diploma. If they hold a university degree, at least one year of relevant experience is required. This experience should include activities related to the revision of journalistic or technical/administrative texts, showcasing the candidate's ability to produce and refine high-quality written materials.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory for this position. Intermediate knowledge of English will be considered an advantage, as it may facilitate communication and collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
