Job Overview:
The IT Service Transition and Continuity Management Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank's IT Department in establishing a robust IT Service Management framework. This position involves ensuring that IT services and systems are effectively integrated into this framework, which is essential for maintaining operational stability and resilience. The consultant will be tasked with developing and implementing streamlined processes for IT service transition and continuity management, which are vital for the bank's ability to respond to disruptions and maintain service delivery. The consultant will work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure that IT services are aligned with the bank's business continuity objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, thereby enhancing the overall resilience of the bank's IT operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a variety of duties, including: 1) Supporting the development and implementation of a streamlined service transition management process to ensure that IT services are smoothly integrated into the IT Service Management framework. 2) Collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate the transition of IT services and systems. 3) Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for service transition plans, processes, and procedures. 4) Conducting training sessions and workshops for IT personnel on best practices for service transition. 5) Monitoring and reporting on the progress of service transitions, identifying potential risks or issues, and implementing mitigation strategies. 6) Supporting the establishment and maintenance of an IT Service Continuity Management process that aligns with the bank's business continuity and disaster recovery management strategies. 7) Developing and implementing IT resilience strategies to ensure continuous service delivery during disruptions. 8) Conducting business impact analyses to identify critical continuity indicators for IT services. 9) Creating and maintaining IT service continuity plans and coordinating testing and drills to ensure preparedness. 10) Supporting the development of disaster recovery profiles and plans for IT services and systems, and coordinating disaster recovery rehearsals.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong competencies in writing clear and user-friendly documentation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Essential skills include relationship management, facilitation, communication, reporting, presentation, project management, and planning. A high degree of diplomacy, integrity, and tact is also required. Additionally, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of professional experience in technology or a related field is required, along with three years of specific experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT Service Transition Management. Experience in managing IT consulting projects, particularly in IT operations management and risk management, is also necessary.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, Physical security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security, Accounting, or Auditing. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered acceptable. Candidates should have a strong foundation in IT principles and practices, as well as relevant certifications that demonstrate their expertise in the field.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least five years of professional experience in technology or a related field, with a minimum of three years specifically focused on IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT Service Transition Management. Experience in designing and maintaining policy documents, as well as managing IT consulting projects, is essential. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices is also required.

Languages:
Fluent interpersonal communication skills in English, both oral and written, are mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

Additional Notes:
This is an on-site position located at the AIIB headquarters in Beijing, China. The consultant will be provided with workspace, network access, and a bank-issued laptop. The role is expected to be full-time, and the consultant will be expected to engage actively with various stakeholders within the bank to ensure the successful implementation of IT service transition and continuity management processes.
