Job Overview: The Logistics Expert will work under the supervision of the Head of Logistics Department, primarily focusing on the nationalization of the Logistics Manager position in Dnipro and Kharkiv. The role involves providing both technical and managerial support to the national Logistics Manager, ensuring they possess the necessary expertise and assisting them in areas where they may need improvement. The Logistics Expert will also be responsible for coordinating logistics team management and liaising with other departments and external stakeholders, including NGOs and local partners. An action plan outlining objectives for the next six months will need to be submitted to the Head of Logistics Department, emphasizing the strategic direction of logistics operations in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the national Logistics Manager, ensuring they have the required expertise for their role.
Assist the national Logistics Manager in identifying areas of weakness and developing strategies for improvement.
Support the national Logistics Manager in managing the logistics team effectively.
Facilitate coordination between the logistics department and other internal departments as well as external partners.
Develop and submit an action plan to the Head of Logistics Department detailing objectives for the next six months.
Engage with other NGOs, clusters, and local partners to enhance collaboration and resource sharing.
Monitor and evaluate logistics operations to ensure compliance with ACF standards and best practices.
