Job Overview:
The Associate marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Digital Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a digital fundraising engagement strategy at a global level. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable communities. The incumbent will be responsible for creating compelling content that resonates with potential donors, thereby supporting the growth of individual giving and securing stable income for UNRWA. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that fundraising campaigns are effectively planned and executed across multiple digital channels, including email marketing, social media, and website content. The officer will also analyze performance data to refine strategies and improve engagement with donors, ensuring that the content is tailored to different audiences and stages of the donor journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Digital Marketing Officer include contributing to the development and implementation of an Individual Giving content strategy through storytelling, fundraising campaigns, and emergency appeals. The officer will support the planning and coordination of fundraising content across digital channels, ensuring that it is informed by performance data and audience insights. Responsibilities also include creating high-quality fundraising content, such as donor appeals and campaign copy, and collaborating with the Digital Analyst to translate campaign performance into content improvements. The officer will supervise the Content team, providing guidance and quality assurance to ensure high-quality fundraising communications. Additionally, the officer will coordinate with creative agencies and internal teams to develop and deliver fundraising content, monitor emerging trends in digital marketing, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance performance.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) in communication, marketing, business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline. Alternatively, a first-level university degree in the specified fields, combined with two additional years of relevant work experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. At least two years of relevant work experience in digital fundraising or content creation, particularly in digital acquisition campaigns, is required. Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of Arabic, and knowledge of the UN system and Islamic Giving is desirable. Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) from an accredited institution in communication, marketing, business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline. Experience:
The position requires at least two years of relevant work experience in digital fundraising or content creation, with a specific focus on digital acquisition campaigns. Candidates must also have at least two continuous years of relevant international experience outside UNRWA and outside their country of citizenship unless they are already serving as an international staff member in the UN Common System. This level of experience is crucial for understanding the complexities of digital marketing and fundraising in an international context.

Languages:
For this position, English is the mandatory language, with a required proficiency level of UN Level III in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. A good working knowledge of Arabic is desirable, as it can enhance communication with diverse audiences. Knowledge of French is also beneficial, given that it is one of the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

Additional Notes:
