Job Overview:
The Junior Social Video Producer will play a crucial role in creating fast-turnaround, mobile-first video content that effectively showcases the EBRD's work on various social media platforms. This position is situated within the Multimedia team, which is responsible for bridging the gap between traditional broadcast-quality production and the agile, authentic content that thrives on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. The successful candidate will be adept at directing high-level executives on camera, editing video content in dynamic environments, and collaborating with the Multimedia team on longer-form projects. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Junior Social Video Producer will be responsible for working as part of the award-winning Multimedia team on longer-form video projects, ensuring a social-first perspective is integrated into planning and production. Key responsibilities include producing engaging video content for internal channels to keep staff informed about the EBRD's mission and activities, traveling to countries where the EBRD invests to capture compelling stories that demonstrate the real-world impact of the organization's work, and transforming complex investment stories into accessible, human-centered video content for both internal and external audiences. The role also involves helping the team adopt more agile production methods, maintaining video and image libraries, supporting high-profile events with polished and real-time content, and training colleagues in mobile video production and social content best practices. Furthermore, the producer will script, shoot, and edit mobile-first video content for social platforms, direct EBRD leaders on camera, produce platform-native content optimized for social media, and monitor competitor content to gain insights on effective strategies in the social space.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a proven track record of creating video content for social media platforms, with a portfolio required to demonstrate this experience. Proficiency in mobile and DSLR/mirrorless shooting, lighting for interview setups, and audio capture is essential. Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent) are required, and familiarity with After Effects is a plus. The candidate should possess the ability to work quickly under pressure and deliver content to tight deadlines, as well as confidence in directing senior executives and non-professional talent on camera. An understanding of what makes content perform well on LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms is crucial, along with excellent written and spoken English skills to script concise and engaging content. A willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, is also necessary.
