Job Overview:
The analyst" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Assistant Analyst position is designed for individuals who will be responsible for a variety of operational tasks that are essential to the functioning of the EBRD's banking and treasury operations. This role will involve working closely with various teams within the bank, including Banking origination, portfolio teams, and Treasury front office. The primary focus will be on managing and processing disbursements and other transactional activities related to the bank's products. The Assistant Analyst will also be involved in legal documentation processes, compliance checks, and operational performance metrics. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in operational processes. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a portfolio of basic operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Analyst will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: executing operational processes across various activities in middle and back-office support functions, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring of the bank's products, delivering outstanding operational performance by adhering to established metrics, responding promptly to operational queries, communicating effectively with relevant departments to mitigate risks, supporting the wider team with transaction-related tasks, managing project covenant reporting, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure service levels are maintained and operational outcomes are achieved, as well as contributing to the development of a culture of quality and accountability within the team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree or equivalent work experience. A strong understanding of general banking, legal, and credit skills is essential, along with a basic knowledge of treasury and banking products. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and experience with relevant systems such as Summit, Frameworks, SAP, Debt Domain, and SWIFT. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively are crucial for success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages is considered advantageous. A collaborative and solution-oriented attitude, along with strong interpersonal skills, is also required.

Educational Background:
A university degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a relevant area may also be considered acceptable. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in financial principles, banking operations, and analytical skills necessary for the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have relevant experience in banking or financial services, particularly in operational roles that involve middle and back-office functions. Experience in managing transactional activities, compliance processes, and customer service is highly desirable. Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and a track record of contributing to team transformations would be beneficial. The role may suit recent graduates with internships or entry-level experience in finance or banking.

Languages:
