Relief International focuses on providing essential services in Health and Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education, and Livelihoods programming. The organization is a result of mergers and alliances between three entities: Relief International, Inc., Relief International-France, and Relief International-UK, all governed by a unified senior leadership team. The Philippines office is currently seeking to hire a Graphic Designer to ensure adherence to the organization's standards and guidelines.

Job Overview:
The position of Video Editor is crucial for the Tanggol Kababaihan program, which aims to operationalize the Philippine National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security (NAPWPS). This program is funded by the European Union and seeks to enhance peace, stability, and well-being in conflict-vulnerable communities across the Philippines. The Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality short videos that effectively communicate key messages to a general audience. The videos will be created from footage filmed by various stakeholders using mobile devices, and they must comply with the visual guidelines set forth by Relief International and the European Union. The role requires creativity and technical skills to ensure that the final products are engaging and informative, thereby maximizing awareness-raising opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Video Editor will have several key responsibilities, including:

• Producing 45-second videos based on mobile footage provided by stakeholders.
• Creating two 2-minute audio-visual presentations (AVPs) focused on Women, Peace, and Security, utilizing mobile videos captured by teams on the ground.
• Developing 30-second explainer videos on topics related to Women, Peace, and Security, incorporating royalty-free videos, graphics, and photos.
• Ensuring that all videos include subtitles in multiple languages, including English, Tagalog, Hiligaynon, Waray-Waray, and Bisaya.
• Collaborating closely with the Tanggol Kababaihan program team to determine specific work and delivery dates for each video.
• Maintaining communication with Relief International regarding the number of days worked in relation to deliverables.
• Submitting both editable source files and final production-ready versions for all approved outputs.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in video editing, particularly with short, shareable videos, demonstrated through a relevant portfolio.
• Familiarity with institutional branding and adherence to branding guidelines.
• Proven experience in producing media reels for international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), with a requirement to provide links to previous work in the application.
• Experience working collaboratively with partners and various stakeholders, ensuring cultural sensitivity, gender responsiveness, and disability inclusion in all projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Adherence to Relief International's Safeguarding Policies and Values.

Educational Background:

Additional Notes:
The consultancy for this position is expected to run from August 2026 to January 2027, with a maximum engagement of 90 person-days during this period. Payment will be arranged on a person-day basis, based on approved daily professional rates and actual days worked. The consultant is required to submit both editable source files and final production-ready versions for all approved outputs. This role is part-time and may involve working with international stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness in all aspects of the work.
