Job Overview:
The consultancy position is designed to provide essential administrative, coordination, documentation, and follow-up support for the Anticipatory Action Integration Workshop. This workshop aims to enhance the Local and Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (LDRRM/BDRRM) Plans by integrating anticipatory actions into existing frameworks. The consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective preparation and execution of the workshop, which will involve collaboration with local government units (LGUs) and various stakeholders, including representatives from vulnerable sectors. The consultant will not be responsible for the primary technical design or facilitation of the workshop but will ensure that all logistical and administrative aspects are handled efficiently. The position requires a proactive approach to coordination and documentation, ensuring that all outputs from the workshop are systematically recorded and followed up on after the event.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including pre-workshop coordination, workshop documentation, post-workshop follow-up, and consolidation of outputs. Key responsibilities include coordinating with participating LGUs and barangays to manage schedules and logistical requirements, maintaining participant confirmation and coordination trackers, and assisting in the preparation of workshop materials. Required Qualifications:
Candidates for this consultancy position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field. Additionally, applicants should have at least three years of relevant experience in DRRM, humanitarian or development programming, project coordination, or disaster preparedness. Experience working with local government units, barangays, government offices, and community organizations is essential.
