Job Overview:
The E T Consultant position at the World Bank involves supporting the operations of the World Bank Group Treasury, specifically in the areas of Capital Markets and Investment management. The role requires a strong understanding of financial instruments and risk management fundamentals, particularly in relation to Murex, MLC, Bonds, Money Market instruments, FX, and OTC Derivative trades. The consultant will be expected to contribute to the technical design, development, and implementation of risk systems, ensuring that they meet the business needs of users and external clients. The position also involves gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for credit risk systems, analyzing financial data, and supporting creditworthiness evaluations. The consultant will play a crucial role in monitoring credit risk across the loan portfolio and generating management reports on portfolio quality and risk metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The E T Consultant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: participating in the technical design, development, and implementation of risk systems; representing CRMFR in the Murex implementation project as a Subject Matter Expert; gathering and documenting business and functional requirements; supporting creditworthiness evaluations; monitoring credit risk across the loan portfolio; assisting in developing and executing test cases; collaborating with IT for data migration; preparing reports and status updates; and contributing to the implementation of the new platform. The consultant will also be expected to mentor team members in Risk functions and provide business and solutions guidance.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of financial instruments and risk management fundamentals. They should have experience in supporting the implementation of integrated financial system applications, including preparing specifications and performing design analysis. The role requires the ability to analyze financial data and credit exposures, as well as experience in credit risk management. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders are essential. Additionally, candidates should have experience with cash management applications and a solid understanding of the risk business domain.

Educational Background:
Typically, candidates are required to have a master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. The educational background should ideally include studies in finance, economics, or a related field that provides a strong foundation in financial instruments and risk management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for candidates with a master's degree, or at least 7 years for those with a bachelor's degree. Experience should include working with financial instruments, risk management, and integrated financial systems. Candidates should also have a proven track record of analyzing financial data and supporting credit risk management processes.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
