Job Overview: The Analyst - Portfolio Manager position is crucial for the operational efficiency of the EBRD, focusing on middle and back office functions that interface directly with Banking origination, portfolio teams, and Treasury front office. The role involves managing a portfolio of varying complexity and ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and timely. The Analyst will be responsible for processing disbursements and other transactional activities across a range of products, ensuring compliance with legal documentation post-signing. The position requires a continuous improvement mindset, as the individual will be expected to support and enhance operational processes within the Operations & Service Management (OSM) function. The Analyst will also provide support and training to Assistant Analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Analyst will execute operational processes across various activities in middle and back office support functions, ensuring proper documentation, booking, funding, and monitoring of the Bank's products. Responsibilities include responding to operational queries promptly, communicating with relevant departments to highlight risks associated with specific projects, and providing training to Assistant Analysts. The Analyst will also contribute to maintaining service levels, support the improvement of OSM's control environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational outcomes. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university education or equivalent work experience, along with comprehensive banking, legal, or credit skills. Experience with systems such as Summit, Frameworks, Debt Domain, SAP, or Swift is advantageous.
