Job Overview:
The Analyst in the Integrity Screening Research Unit will play a crucial role in providing market data and research information to internal clients. This position is integral to the Bank's business intelligence activities, which support the growth and maintenance of the Bank's project pipeline and portfolio. The individual will be expected to adopt a continuous improvement mindset, actively participating in enhancing operational processes within the screening function. The role involves conducting thorough screening and research due diligence on customers and related parties, both before and after signing agreements. The Analyst will utilize various online data sources to ensure compliance with the Bank's Integrity Due Diligence Guidelines, focusing on the identity, reputation, and interests of parties involved in business transactions with the Bank. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying integrity risk factors, including politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions, and criminal matters. The Analyst will also be involved in ongoing monitoring activities and will need to adapt to evolving practices and technologies that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the screening function.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be responsible for executing screening and research processes to meet established service standards, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Key responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating a commitment to operational performance by adhering to quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Responding promptly to queries and escalating issues as necessary across the three lines of defense.
  • Communicating effectively with relevant departments to ensure decision-makers are informed of risks associated with specific projects or transactions.
  • Providing additional support to the screening team to maintain service levels, especially during peak periods.
  • Contributing to a culture of quality and accountability within the team, ensuring adherence to quality assurance targets.
  • Supporting the improvement of the operational control environment and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and legislation.
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational outcomes that align with established service levels and standards.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to manage backlogs and guide prioritization of tasks while communicating operational constraints.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess the necessary seniority to handle the responsibilities of the role effectively. Required qualifications include:
  • Significant experience in a corporate research unit within the financial services sector.
  • A solid understanding of current market practices and technology platforms relevant to the role.
  • Ability to balance operational workloads and communicate effectively with Banking and Compliance teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented attitude with a proven track record of achieving results in KYC/AML and/or research teams.

Educational Background:
The position requires a strong educational background, typically a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate research, compliance, or risk management within the financial services industry. Candidates should also demonstrate a history of working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Additional language skills in Russian, French, Arabic, or Turkish are considered advantageous and may enhance a candidate's profile, particularly in roles that require interaction with diverse stakeholders across different regions.
