Job Overview:
The Analyst position is a critical role within the Gender and Economic Inclusion Team (G&EI) at the EBRD, focusing on the implementation of the WE Finance Code, a global initiative aimed at addressing financing barriers faced by women entrepreneurs. The Analyst will work closely with the WE Finance Code Lead to coordinate gender and inclusion actions, ensuring effective operationalization of the program across various regions, particularly in Egypt and Morocco. The role involves overseeing technical assistance projects, managing the program budget, and engaging with stakeholders to track progress and report on outcomes. The Analyst will also contribute to the broader objectives of the GEI department, which aims to enhance gender equality and economic inclusion through strategic policy initiatives and partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, appraisal, and monitoring of investment projects and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects, ensuring their alignment with the Bank's transition mandate. Key responsibilities include managing TC projects related to the WE Finance Code, overseeing the work of consultants, and ensuring timely delivery of outputs. The Analyst will engage with national and regional coalitions, support policy dialogue activities, and track the progress of inclusion initiatives. Additionally, the Analyst will contribute to the development of gender-responsive policies, provide capacity building within the Bank, and create knowledge tools for internal and external use. The role requires collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to promote the visibility and impact of the WE Finance Code.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in economics, international development, or a related field. They should have demonstrated expertise in policy development, gender, and inclusion, with prior experience in relevant sectors such as finance, government, or academia. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, are essential. Familiarity with results-based project management and experience working with donors are also required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think strategically, work under pressure, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to thrive in a multicultural team environment.

Educational Background:
A postgraduate degree in economics, international development, or a related field is mandatory for this position. Experience:

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
