Job Overview:
The HR Assistant position at WFP Egypt is pivotal in supporting the Human Resources Unit, which is essential for attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining a talented workforce. The HR Assistant will engage in various HR activities, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, personnel administration, HR reporting, employee support, and workforce data management. This role is designed for individuals who are proactive and client-focused, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines in a fast-paced, multicultural, and mission-driven environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: providing assistance on general HR queries and ensuring high-quality HR services are delivered; guiding and training other staff on HR systems and procedures; liaising with internal units on HR matters such as payroll and contracts; extracting and compiling HR data for analysis and reporting; providing administrative support for onboarding new staff; maintaining confidential personnel records and HR databases; drafting HR documentation like employment contracts and training-related documents; using HR management systems to update HR data; and supporting staff deployment and related administrative actions to facilitate efficient HR services.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or a relevant field. Additionally, a minimum of five years of relevant experience in human resources administration, recruitment, personnel management, or employee services is required. Previous experience within the United Nations system, international organizations, NGOs, or multinational organizations is highly desirable. Strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong client-service orientation and the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Organizational Behavior. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of human resources and effectively managing HR functions within the organization.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience in human resources administration, recruitment, personnel management, or related HR functions. Experience within the United Nations system or similar international organizations is preferred, as it provides candidates with a better understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of working in a humanitarian context.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory for this position.
