Job Overview: The Associate Senior Enterprise Architect position at the World Bank Group is a pivotal role within the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU). The position involves defining and governing portfolio architectures and product architectures to enhance solution delivery within the ITS portfolio. Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate Senior Enterprise Architect will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including defining and governing portfolio and product architectures to facilitate solution delivery. The architect will drive the adoption and optimization of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as AI/ML capabilities. They will translate organizational strategies into coherent enterprise architecture directions and technology roadmaps, evaluate industry trends, and produce high-quality architecture artifacts. Collaboration with business leaders, solution architects, and Agile teams is essential to co-create innovative solutions. The architect will also act as a trusted advisor, aligning stakeholders around shared architectural standards and governance practices. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. An Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF, EACOE, or equivalent) and a Cloud Solutions Architect certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are required. Strong hands-on experience in designing and governing cloud reference architectures for large-scale environments is essential. Proven experience in establishing enterprise guardrails and driving cloud adoption is also necessary.
