Job Overview:
In this role, you will report directly to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director and be responsible for preparing project proposals, communications, and reports intended for donors as part of the search and implementation of grants. Your specific missions will include contributing to the implementation of the donor strategy for the mission, advising and training field teams in the development of documents for donors, internal reporting, and monitoring documents. You will organize the production and follow-up of documents intended for donors and internal monitoring documents. Additionally, you will implement, structure, and formalize the partnership approach between ACF and its partners in connection with technical departments and field coordinators. You will define and implement a mutual knowledge transfer and capacity-building process with project partners, as well as define and implement the communication strategy for the mission.

  • Contributing to the implementation of the donor strategy for the mission.
  • Advising and training field teams in the preparation of documents for donors, including reporting and internal monitoring documents.
  • Organizing the production and follow-up of documents intended for donors and internal monitoring.
  • Implementing, structuring, and formalizing the partnership approach between ACF and its partners, in collaboration with technical departments and field coordinators.
  • Defining and implementing a mutual knowledge transfer and capacity-building process with project partners.
  • Defining and implementing the communication strategy for the mission.
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards in all documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to foster relationships and facilitate effective communication.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in humanitarian and/or development programs.
  • Ideally, prior experience in a similar role coordinating project proposals in complex and prolonged humanitarian crisis contexts.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Strong listening, collaboration, and multi-stakeholder relationship-building skills.
  • Decision-making abilities while respecting deadlines.
  • Good management and leadership skills, along with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in both written and oral communication in French and English.

Educational Background:
The educational background needed for this position typically includes a degree in a relevant field such as international relations, development studies, public health, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees may be preferred or required depending on the specific demands of the role and the organization.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian or development programs, with a strong preference for those who have worked in similar roles within complex humanitarian crisis contexts. Experience in project proposal coordination and donor engagement is highly valued.

Languages:
Mandatory languages for this position include French and English, with proficiency in both written and oral communication being essential. Additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly those relevant to the regions in which ACF operates.

Additional Notes:
This position is a fixed-term contract under French law for a duration of 6 months. The gross monthly salary ranges from 2597 euros to 2968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will receive a retirement insurance reimbursement of 16% of the gross monthly salary. There is a 6% increase in the base salary every 12 months of continuous contract. Monthly per diem and living expenses amount to 1105 USD net, paid on the ground. A monthly contextual allowance of 450 euros is provided, along with a child allowance of 1500 euros per year for each child present in the home country (with a ceiling of 6000 euros per year). Transportation and accommodation are covered, with collective housing provided. Medical coverage includes 100% reimbursement of health contributions and repatriation insurance, as well as medical expenses for up to one month after the end of the contract. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 20 rest and recuperation days per year, with travel expenses covered for breaks and a flat allowance of 215 euros per RnR.
