The intern will work closely with the Chief of the Unit and will be expected to contribute to research, analysis, and the development of marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and impact of UN media campaigns. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern's responsibilities will include researching and identifying potential media and organizational partners to secure licensing agreements for UN media use. They will also analyze audience intelligence data to inform editorial planning and marketing strategies. The intern will be tasked with proposing innovative digital marketing tools and methods to enhance the distribution of UN media content. Additionally, they will integrate artificial intelligence into media analysis and marketing workflows, utilize data analytics to provide insights on client engagement with UN media, and assist in drafting promotional materials. The intern will also help organize special events, particularly during significant UN gatherings, and will undertake other tasks as assigned to support the team's objectives.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (second university degree or equivalent) or be in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Additionally, candidates should be proficient in standard software applications, demonstrate a strong interest in the UN's work, and possess the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Educational Background: Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a degree in a field closely related to media, communications, international relations, or a similar discipline.
