Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ICT Officer – Geospatial Data Engineer include but are not limited to:
Managing and overseeing the collection, processing, and dissemination of geospatial data to support various missions.
Implementing advanced geospatial data management practices to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Collaborating with other UN agencies and stakeholders to integrate geospatial data into operational frameworks.
Conducting quality control assessments on geospatial data to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Providing technical support and training to staff on geospatial data tools and methodologies.
Developing and maintaining geospatial databases and systems to facilitate data sharing and analysis.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong background in information and communications technology, particularly in geospatial data management.
