Job Overview: The position of Responsable de département/Expert·e Régional·e Santé Mentale et Soutien Psychosocial (SMSP) entails significant responsibilities aimed at ensuring the quality, relevance, and technical innovation of the SMSP strategy and interventions within the operational area. The role requires adherence to ACF and international standards as well as national policies. The successful candidate will support field teams to guarantee the technical quality and relevance of ACF's interventions, particularly focusing on the SMSP component of the RESILAC project. This position is crucial for providing contextual analysis" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">technical analysis and strategic orientation, harmonizing approaches, and ensuring effective project management, advocacy, and reporting for the RESILAC project. The role also involves promoting and evaluating the technical quality of interventions and accountability within the program, as well as participating in human resource management and developing the technical expertise of teams. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Responsable de département/Expert·e Régional·e SMSP include:
Conducting contextual technical analysis and providing insights to the headquarters and the RESILAC project.
Contributing to strategic orientation and harmonization of approaches, ensuring effective project management, advocacy, and reporting for the RESILAC project.
Providing technical support to country offices within the intervention zone and to RESILAC country teams.
Promoting and evaluating the technical quality of interventions and accountability within the RESILAC program.
Participating in the management of human resources within the professional field and the RESILAC program, while developing the technical expertise of teams.
Coordinating the identification of needs and formulating project proposals.
Ensuring ACF's active participation in national sectoral coordination, technical platforms, and developing sectoral partnerships.
Promoting capitalization, development, technical innovation, and research within the SMSP department.
Ensuring confidentiality of data collected during SMSP activities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a higher education degree (Bac+5) in Clinical Psychology or Psychiatry. A minimum of three years of experience in the humanitarian field is required, including at least one year in a coordination role. Strong knowledge of humanitarian psychology is essential, along with significant experience in team management. Experience in the field with ACF is considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills in both French and English, both orally and in writing, as these are crucial for the role.

Additional Notes: The employment conditions include a fixed-term contract of six months under French law. For each child present in the home country, an annual allowance of 1500 euros is provided, with a maximum of 6000 euros per year. Transport and housing are covered, including individual housing rent and associated charges, with a monthly allowance of 700,000 XAF. Medical coverage includes 100% reimbursement of health insurance contributions and medical expenses, extending up to one month after contract termination. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 20 rest and recuperation days, with travel expenses covered for breaks.
