Job Overview:
The Facility Operations Manager at WWF is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management within the organization. This includes managing property management, mailroom and reception services, vendor management, space planning, and budget execution. The role requires a strategic approach to ensure efficient operations and high occupant satisfaction. The manager will work in a hybrid structure, spending a minimum of three days a week in the office, and will be expected to collaborate closely with various departments to enhance workspace management and support corporate risk management initiatives. The position is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of WWF's headquarters and ensuring that facilities meet the needs of its employees and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Facility Operations Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the WWF headquarters facilities, ensuring efficient operations and occupant satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing a $1.5 million Property Management Agreement, overseeing third-party office services, and ensuring timely responses to facilities requests. The manager will be responsible for financial management, including budget gathering and expense coding, and will oversee workspace planning and allocation. Additionally, the role involves supporting corporate risk management, managing vendor relationships, and conducting new employee orientation sessions. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining the facilities intranet content and quarterly newsletters, supervising asset inventory, and supporting LEED certification renewals for the headquarters.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of eight years in facilities administration. Excellent project management skills are essential, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to develop and manage facilities budgets is crucial, along with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including public speaking capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly are also necessary. A passion for sustainability and a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture within the organization are highly valued.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates who have additional certifications or training in facilities management, project management, or related disciplines. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, particularly for candidates with extensive relevant experience in facilities operations.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of eight years of experience in facilities administration, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a hybrid work environment. Candidates should demonstrate experience in financial management, vendor management, and project management, as well as a strong understanding of facilities operations and best practices.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required for this position.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time role based in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work structure requiring a minimum of three days in the office. The salary range for this position is between $107,500 and $154,600, commensurate with experience.
