Job Overview: The position of Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Coordinator is crucial for the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Water Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (MSP), which was established to address significant water management challenges in Thailand. The MSP Coordinator will act as a catalyst between public and private sectors, facilitating the development and implementation of projects, policies, and financing mechanisms aimed at enhancing water security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security in the EEC. This role requires a strategic approach to program management, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge management, ensuring that the MSP meets its objectives effectively. The Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders, including government officials, private sector leaders, and civil society organizations, to drive innovation and collaboration in water management.
Duties and Responsibilities: The MSP Coordinator will oversee the overall management of the MSP, supporting the Co-Chairs in strategic leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and refining the MSP strategy, ensuring the delivery of projects across three workstreams: Bulk Water Supply, Demand Management and Efficiency Improvement, and Wastewater Treatment and Reuse. The Coordinator will facilitate stakeholder engagement, organize Steering Committee meetings, and maintain active dialogue with relevant initiatives in Thailand. Additionally, the role involves close coordination with the World Bank and International Finance Corporation teams, developing communication strategies, managing knowledge related to water resources, and preparing detailed work programs and budgets.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in business administration, management, technology, engineering, natural resource management, economics, or a related field from a reputable institution. A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience is required, including at least 5 years in the private sector focusing on innovation and strategic initiatives. Proven experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, particularly within the Thai government and private sector, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong program management skills, leadership capabilities, and a solid understanding of the political and regulatory landscape in Thailand.
Educational Background: A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, management, technology, engineering, natural resource management, or economics is required. The degree should be from a recognized and accredited institution, ensuring that the candidate has a strong theoretical foundation to support their practical experience in the role.
Experience: The position requires at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong emphasis on executive leadership, project management, or strategic consulting. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the private sector, particularly in driving innovation and managing large-scale strategic initiatives. Experience in water or natural resource management is advantageous, but candidates with expertise in other domains who can apply their skills to multi-stakeholder challenges are encouraged to apply.
Languages: Native proficiency in Thai is mandatory, along with fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Excellent communication skills are essential for summarizing complex analyses, drafting reports, and presenting to senior stakeholders. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

The role is classified as an Extended Term Consultant (ETC) position, which is subject to a maximum of three years of appointment.
