Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the PeopleSoft Administrator include providing technical expertise for Oracle and MS SQL database servers, developing performance tuning and maintenance plans for enterprise applications, and offering end-to-end administration and support for PeopleSoft. The consultant will perform installations, upgrades, and patching, as well as manage existing customizations across PeopleSoft environments. Regular tasks will involve conducting performance tuning, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing on-call production support to ensure system stability and availability. The consultant will also support integrations, collaborate with development teams, and deliver expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues. Additionally, the role requires advising application developers on resolving upgrade-related challenges and demonstrating strong expertise in SQL tuning, data conversion, and Integration Broker. The consultant will also be responsible for developing and maintaining UNIX shell scripts and Windows scripts for automation and administration tasks, managing virtual machines, Windows servers, and Linux servers, and planning and coordinating PeopleSoft Update Manager upgrades and patching.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field in Information Technology. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator, demonstrating a strong technical background in database management and administration. The role demands excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality written outputs. Candidates should also possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Educational Background:
