Job Overview:
The role of the ICLA Officer is crucial in executing projects and activities related to Information, Counseling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) in alignment with NRC Honduras's programmatic strategy. The officer will oversee themes such as access to housing rights, land and property rights, obtaining civil and identity documentation, and providing legal assistance for legal residency processes for individuals in need of international protection, including refugees. The position requires active participation in planning, executing, and monitoring local NRC activities in collaboration with team leaders and area coordinators, contributing to strategic processes, and designing legal strategies to deliver ICLA services efficiently and timely. The officer will also be responsible for planning and conducting training sessions for public officials and other organizations, facilitating guidance and training for program staff, and ensuring proper monitoring and reporting of project activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The ICLA Officer will provide ICLA services to beneficiaries in offices, communities, and during missions, in accordance with ongoing project budgets and assigned themes. Responsibilities include actively participating in the planning, execution, and monitoring of NRC activities at the local level, designing legal strategies for efficient service delivery, planning and coordinating awareness-raising activities for internally displaced persons and those in need of international protection, and implementing training for public officials and other organizations. The officer will also facilitate training for program staff, monitor project activities, follow up on legal measures related to housing rights, land and property access, and civil documentation, and provide community guidance on collaborative conflict resolution processes. Additionally, the officer will manage data collection and documentation, prepare monthly quantitative and narrative reports, and support the development of operational standards and thematic publications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in law and have a minimum of three years of experience in similar roles, preferably within humanitarian contexts. Documented results related to the responsibilities of the position are essential. Educational Background:
A university degree in law is required for this position, ensuring that the candidate has the necessary legal knowledge and understanding to effectively assist individuals in navigating legal processes related to housing, land, property rights, and other legal matters pertinent to displaced persons and refugees.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in similar roles, particularly in humanitarian settings. Languages:
