Job Overview: The primary mission of the Strategic Advisor is to facilitate the definition, preparation for implementation, monitoring, and communication of the organization's strategic orientations. This role also supports the coordination of major calls and partnership commitments related to Social Missions in a transversal manner. Specifically, the advisor will assist the General Management in preparing and monitoring strategic positions and calendars, producing analyses, drafting framing documents, and supporting the coordination of global offers. Additionally, the advisor will support the General Management and the Executive Committee in deploying and managing transversal projects, coordinating priority projects and negotiations with ACF International. The role also involves facilitating the operational implementation of strategic frameworks, supporting internal communication from the General Management, and monitoring the implementation of decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Strategic Advisor will be responsible for the following duties:
Collaborate with the General Management to prepare and monitor strategic positioning and calendars, including the production of analyses and drafting of framing documents.
Support the coordination of global offers and assist in the deployment and management of transversal projects.
Facilitate the operational implementation of strategic frameworks and ensure effective internal communication regarding the General Management's directives.
Monitor the implementation of decisions made by the organization and provide necessary support to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to mobilize contributors around common projects.
Conduct thorough analyses to identify key issues within the organization and prioritize actions accordingly.
Maintain a methodological approach to ensure coherence in actions taken and facilitate effective project management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in fields such as Political Science, International Relations, or similar disciplines. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required, with at least 3 years in strategic consulting or organizational roles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, enabling them to quickly identify key organizational issues. They should possess the ability to prioritize actions effectively to meet the demands of strategic projects led by multiple stakeholders. Autonomy, rigor, and a developed synthesis mindset are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse interlocutors.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, or a related field is mandatory for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of the role and the strategic environment in which Action contre la Faim operates.
Experience: The position requires at least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in strategic consulting or organizational roles. This level of experience is necessary to ensure that the candidate can effectively contribute to the strategic objectives of the organization and navigate the complexities of the humanitarian sector.
Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for this role. This proficiency is necessary for effective communication within the organization and with external partners. While not mandatory, knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly in the context of international operations.
Additional Notes: The position is a fixed-term contract (CDD) for 6 months and is full-time. The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from 46,000 to 55,000 euros gross annually, depending on experience, with an additional seniority bonus after 3 years of service at the headquarters. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. There are also salary maintenance provisions for illness, maternity, and paternity. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed, and meal vouchers are provided. Remote work is permitted from metropolitan territory, with one mandatory in-person day required for this position, alongside collective presence for meetings and events (up to 3 days per month).
