Job Overview: The primary objective of this consultancy is to develop practical, user-oriented, and scientifically grounded Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Carp and Tilapia Hatchery Systems and Carp Nursery Systems. The SOPs will serve as operational tools that translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for hatchery and nursery operators. This role involves creating a plain-language Operator’s Guide to the Fish Hatchery Act 2010 and Fish Hatchery Rules 2011, which will help practitioners understand licensing, inspection, and compliance obligations. The consultant will focus on improving operational practices, seed quality, and system performance through the development of these SOPs, ensuring they are accessible and usable in real-world conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be responsible for developing three distinct SOP packages: Carp Hatchery SOP, Tilapia Hatchery SOP, and Carp Nursery SOP. Additionally, the consultant will create an Operator’s Guide to the Fish Hatchery Act 2010 and Fish Hatchery Rules 201
