Job Overview: The Project Manager position within the Information, Communication and Technology Management (ICTM) Office is pivotal for the successful implementation of new systems and software packages that align with NATO's business requirements. The Project Manager will coordinate security accreditation activities and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Duties and Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Project Management: Implement a structured project management methodology, such as PRINCE2, to ensure successful project delivery. Estimate project size, duration, and resource requirements, and monitor project progress. Track financial reports and develop action plans to mitigate risks. 2. Expertise Development: Analyze potential risks and benefits of technology solutions, and collaborate with procurement and vendors to develop Statements of Work (SOW). 3. Information Management: Maintain oversight of project documentation and guide the Information Management procedures for the Unit. 4. People Management: Foster the development of team members through inclusive management practices and create a motivating project team environment. 5. Perform any other related duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with NATO's strategic objectives and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of three years of professional experience in project management, particularly in software development and system integration within an ICT environment, is required. Candidates should have practical knowledge of formal project management frameworks and methodologies, such as PRINCE2, and experience managing cross-functional teams. Familiarity with software cybersecurity aspects in high-security environments is essential. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in NATO's official languages, with a minimum of V (Advanced) in one language and II (Elementary) in the other.
