Job Overview:
The coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Administrative Coordinator position is integral to the Airbel Impact Lab, which is the IRC’s Research & Innovation Unit. This role is designed to provide essential executive administrative support to the Chief Research and Innovation Officer (CRIO) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The coordinator will ensure smooth day-to-day operations for a globally distributed team, managing logistics and administrative tasks that are crucial for the effective functioning of the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in fast-paced and complex environments. Responsibilities include calendar management, expense reconciliation, travel coordination, and logistical support for meetings, particularly for the Advisory Board and the new Canada office. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to creating conditions that allow teams and leaders to operate efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Coordinator will have a variety of key responsibilities, primarily focused on executive support (75%) and Canada office administration & operations (25%). For executive support, the coordinator will serve as the primary administrative partner to the CRIO, managing a complex and high-volume calendar, anticipating needs, and prioritizing competing demands. They will provide administrative support to the SLT, coordinate domestic and international travel, ensure timely expense reconciliation, prepare meeting logistics, and support decision-making processes. Additionally, the coordinator will manage logistics for the Airbel Advisory Board meetings, continuously seeking opportunities to improve administrative systems and workflows. For the Canada office, the coordinator will support governance and compliance, manage finance and procurement processes, prepare consultant agreements, and provide logistical support to the IRC Canada President.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess 4–6 years of professional experience, ideally with an international NGO or global organization. They must demonstrate the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and have experience supporting senior leaders with scheduling and administrative tasks. A strong interest in research and innovation within the humanitarian sector is essential, along with a flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration across diverse groups and time zones, and a dedication to excellent customer service and timely problem-solving is expected. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and strong written and spoken English is mandatory, with proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic considered an advantage.

Educational Background:
