The position of UN Volunteer for the National Culture Week involves supporting the communication efforts surrounding the 22nd edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, scheduled from April 25 to May 2, 202
  • The theme for this year's event is 'Culture, Youth, and the Transmission of Social Values.' The volunteer will work in collaboration with the UNDP and the United Nations Volunteers program, engaging with a network of 460 online volunteers to amplify the event's visibility and promote cultural activities. The role requires active participation in social media engagement, content sharing, and community interaction to ensure a successful event.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the UN Volunteer include:
  • Sharing official content related to the SNC, including visuals, videos, press releases, and announcements across various social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and X.
  • Encouraging audience engagement through likes, comments, and shares on the posts related to the event.
  • Actively promoting the activities, events, and highlights of the SNC to ensure maximum participation and visibility.
  • Maintaining an active online presence throughout the duration of the event to foster community interaction and support.
  • Collecting feedback, reactions, and trends observed on social media and reporting them back to the communication team for analysis and strategy adjustment.
